New series of blog posts - "Soup of the Week"

When I've started with this blog two months ago the idea behind it was to make a central point for all of my microblogging and lifestreaming activities across the web. You can already find some of that in the right column of this blog or on my FirendFeed profile. In addition to that I've decided to introduce a new series of blog posts named "Soup of the Week ". In those posts I will try to collect the most interesting things that I've stumbled upon in that week - a collection of tweets, blog posts, bookmarks, videos, etc. This may come handy if you want to get stuff I'm covering in one place.
If we just take a look of the past week - a lot of revolutionary things happened; Google released SearchWiki that can surely change the way we search and surprisingly shut down Lively - a 3D world similar to SecondLife. In world of live video streaming YouTube had it's first live broadcast of their event. The event kinda reminds me on the early days of MTV and its VMA. They had three separate reliable video streams and millions of viewers on the same moment - a true historic event. But YouTube Live took off in the shade of the dramatic suicide of an 19 years old lifecaster. He committed suicide in front of the whole world - video was broadcast live via his Justin.tv channel. R.I.P.
I'll do this once a week, maybe not the whole writeup, but just with links like you can see below. My English is not very good at the moment so I don't want to torture you:) I'm also not sure on which day exactly I should write this - certainly not on Monday:) or should I? Which logo do you think is better - vertical or horizontal? Let me know how do you feel about it.

waaaaw such a good approach. Just what we need, a recap of weekly stream. Even more people should do it, as each has own point of view on social media highlights...
big up jernej, keep writing, we'll keep reading.
thanks Masarko! - do you think is enough just the links or you think that short write up should follow?
I love your recipe style ;) Hope there is enough soup for all of us :D
I would be very grateful for a sentence or two about each ingredient ... as long as it doesn't take too much of you time ;)
Can't wait to get another bowl of soup :D
@ Sparkica: that's what I'm worried - the time is my enemy:) but I'll try harder:)
