Grab Up - Quickest Way To Share Screenshots

If you're annoyed with long procedures when sharing screenshots, than you should try Grab Up! The application is for now Mac OSX only and is realy fast. Basically what you have to do is just press "cmd+shif+3" and select the desired area. Screenshot than is automatically uploaded on their server and link saved in your clipboard. Now you're ready to share!

There are two versions: Free and Pro (for 20$). Free has annoying adds above picture you've captured - Pro has no adds, option for uploading screenshots automatically to your FTP and custom image watermark. What I don't like is adds in free version, no Flickr support in Pro version and no option to customise keyboard shortcuts.

Download Grab Up here. For detailed presentation watch this video:

That's how the screenshot looks like in Free version:

Looks a very nice application, quite transparent as cmd+shft+3 is used a lot here, and the automatic upload is an obvious missing step. Will have to see how annoying the ads really are.

Great write up, thanks!

Thanks! For me the adds are not so annoying as custom or pre-set keyboard shortcut like "cmd+shift+5".

Just use Skitch (http://skitch.com/)

@Darian: I like Skitch aswell! Grab Up is easier and faster to use though.
