ConvetnionCamp Hannover

ConvetionCamp held in Hannover, Germany was a realy special event - it was a hybrid between a classical convention and a barcamp. People from the Hannover web scene gathered and confronted their opinions on different topics from social media scene. I must say that the German scene is a rather interesting one - they have plenty of applications and social networks that are specified for Germany only. Facebook’s clone StudiVZ and well-known Xing are just two of them. It was a true pleasure to talk to the keynote speakers (such as Oliver Gassner and Markus Willnauer) and meet all the great people from Hannover web community.

I think this event was a great introduction to Berlin Web Week, which will be held from 16th to 23th October. I must say that I am really looking forward to seeing everybody there!

I would also like to thank to Ingo the mastermind of whole event and a great host, and Achim who took me on a tour around Hannover!

Bellow you can see some video streams I've made from the event (in German Language):

Oliver Gassner - “Internet - Weltrettung oder Apokalypse?”

Markus Willnauer - “Media Shift - Power to the people, advertising in the 21st Century”
